日前2023年10月20日应国家领导人习主席邀请，总统拉尼尔·维克拉马辛哈参加第三届“一带一路”国际合作高峰论坛，双方积极评价两国文化和旅游领域合作取得的进展。双方将继续鼓励两国公民赴对方国家旅游，为对方开拓旅游市场提供协助。
At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickramasinghe came to China to attend the third "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit on October 20, 2023. Both sides spoke positively of the progress made in cooperation between the two countries in the fields of culture and tourism. Both sides will continue to encourage citizens of the two countries to travel to each other's countries and provide assistance to each other in developing tourism markets.

Harman Furniture undertakes the loose furniture, wooden fixing and installation projects of the Hilton Yala Resort in Sri Lanka. The grand opening of Hilton Yala Resort was held on August 20, 2023. The resort is adjacent to Sri Lanka's Yala National Park. President Ranil Wickremesinghe inaugurated the "Yala Hilton Resort", which symbolizes the expansion of Hilton Group's brand lineup in Sri Lanka and Southeast Asia.
